The Fox and Hounds at Exton is located in the centre of the county of Rutland, just a couple of miles north of Rutland Water.

It is easy to find,  located just off the A606 between Oakham and Stamford. The closest major road is the A1.   If you are travelling along the A1 northbound, turn off at the A606 turning at Stamford and travel towards Oakham, turning off at Empingham village.   Exton is a couple of miles further on and the pub is located in the centre of the village.

If you are travelling southbound on the A1, turn off at the B676 exit at Greetham.  After exiting the village of Greetham,  travelling towards Oakham, turn left, following the signpost for Exton village.

If you are travelling from Oakham along the A606, turn left at Barnsdale Lodge and travel along the avenue for a mile or so, until you see the signpost for Exton.
